The gag action of this bit provides leverage and poll pressure to the horse and the eggbutt rings prevent the bit from pinching the horses mouth. The single joint applies a nut cracker action which applies pressure to the tongue, the bars of the mouth and the horse’s palate. Encourages the horse to lift off the forehand.
